Alex is currently broadcasting with the Memphis Redbirds, Triple-A affiliate of the St. Luis Cardinals, and for the Sun Devil Radio Network, broadcasting hockey (color) and baseball for the flagship of his alma mater. Alex also broadcasts for Major League Baseball, doing the Arizona Fall League and MLB Desert Invitational in Mesa, AZ.

Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University and earned a degree in Sports Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Alex also graduated from Barrett, the Honors College and received a certificate in Cross-Sector Leadership as part of the Next Generation Service Corps at Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions.​

The young broadcaster began his professional baseball broadcasting career with the Florence Y'alls of the Frontier League before making the jump to the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Memphis Redbirds, just one season later. Alex also has extensive experience broadcasting basketball, hockey, softball and football on both radio and TV.
